Process Statement: This work focuses on gun violence. My constructions are meant to be beautiful and arresting. I draw people in with the look of “pretty” until they see what is really at hand. I find beauty in shiny bullet casings, and in the holes or striations left in acrylic sheets after bullets have passed thru.

Process Statement: Merged and altered two patterned Japanese wave images with my drawing in Photoshop to create this image of calm to raging seas for this photopolymer aquatint print. The plate was printed again on rice paper to create the segment that was cut and rolled then collaged to the print.
